Your Role as Senior Scientist, Biostatistics and Real World Evidence:

  • Participate in the design, development, and documentation of clinical and real-world evidence research studies.
  • Serve as the statistical lead on assigned studies, applying rigorous statistical and quantitative epidemiological principles to assess the efficacy of alternative health products.
  • Ensure compliance with international guidelines such as ICH and STROBE, as well as internal SOPs, providing expertise on Good Clinical Practice and Good Epidemiological Practice principles.
  • Provide leadership in statistical science, mentoring team members on statistical issues and overseeing the statistical integrity of study deliverables.
  • Manage relationships with Clinical Research Organisations (CROs), ensuring all statistical activities are completed on time and meet the expected quality standards.



Experience and Qualifications for the Senior Scientist, Biostatistics and RWE Role:

  • An advanced degree (MSc/PhD preferred) in Biostatistics, Biometrics, or a related statistical field.
  • Extensive experience in a pharmaceutical, medical devices, consumer goods, or clinical research environment.
  • Strong proficiency in R, with knowledge of SAS considered an advantage.
  • Familiarity with CDISC (SDTM, ADaM) and OMOP standards is beneficial.
  • Experience with big data analysis, including the use of machine learning algorithms on electronic medical records, is desirable.
  • Excellent interpersonal, organisational, and leadership skills, capable of working both independently and as part of a team.
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
