Your Role as Mechanical Engineer:

  • Strategically plan and execute projects, adhering to strict budgets and timelines while optimising resource use.
  • Prepare comprehensive engineering documentation for each project phase, maintaining high standards of clarity and compliance.
  • Collaborate effectively with external vendors and Contract Manufacturing Organisations to ensure seamless project execution and equipment sourcing.
  • Innovate and implement maintenance strategies during planned shutdowns to enhance plant efficiency, safety, and quality.
  • Analyse and resolve bottlenecks and potential component failures, developing robust technical solutions to improve process flows.
  • Support the commissioning and start-up of projects in R&D pilot plants and external manufacturing sites, ensuring operational excellence.



Experience and Qualifications for the Mechanical Engineer Role:

  • Holds a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical, Chemical, or Process Engineering, or demonstrates equivalent professional experience.
  • Proven expertise in project management, including planning, execution, and data-driven tracking of complex engineering projects.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and mechanical components essential for production efficiency.
  • Experienced in LEAN production methods and project management tools, with a track record of leading performance and cost improvement initiatives.
  • Must be fluent in both German and English, capable of conducting business at a high level in both languages.
