Appointing commercial leads within DACH and the US.
How we supported this Swedish medical device firm appoint functional heads both in the EU and US, ahead of two major projects for the firm.
Fast-growing Swedish medical device company, Acarix, sought our expertise to place two functional leads within the DACH and US regions; a Head of Sales, to support the DACH commercial effort, and a Finance Lead, to support financial and operational strategy. With a product already approved for distribution in the DACH region and an ERP implementation on the horizon, time was of the essence.
Problems identified
Acarix needed a Head of Sales for the DACH region to implement a commercialization plan for their approved product. Simultaneously, the company was seeking a US-based Head of Finance to support in the imminent ERP system implementation. Other agencies had failed to deliver to the requirements and were projecting lengthy timelines.
What was at stake
Delayed commercialization in the DACH region could result in missed market opportunities, while the absence of a US-based Head of Finance could hinder the effective implementation of their new ERP system.
Strategy and approach
We leveraged our extensive talent network and honed selection process to source qualified candidates who could meet Acarix's requirements, and step into these roles and deliver results. Despite a challenging time frame, we managed to secure a Head of Sales within just 17 working days, and a Head of Finance three months prior to the ERP project
