Your role as Vice President, Gene Therapy Platforms:

In this high-impact leadership role, you will drive discovery and research efforts in capsid engineering and gene editing technologies, positioning the company at the forefront of genetic medicine. You'll lead a team of innovators and collaborate with cross-functional experts to unlock new therapeutic possibilities.

  • Lead innovation in genetic medicine, including capsid engineering, non-viral delivery, and gene therapy/editing
  • Build and manage high-performing teams in viral and non-viral delivery, ensuring efficient workflows for discovering next-generation delivery technologies
  • Collaborate with key internal teams to incorporate novel delivery technologies into preclinical pipeline programs
  • Drive gene editing programs in partnership with internal teams and external collaborators to generate IND-enabling data
  • Contribute to the preparation and submission of regulatory documents related to gene editing research
  • Provide strategic leadership as a member of the Research & Discovery Committee, influencing R&D strategy and project prioritization
  • Act as a technical and strategic leader in external partnerships and contribute to due diligence efforts

Experience and qualifications for the Vice President, Gene Therapy Platforms role:

  • PhD in Molecular Biology, Virology, Genetics, or a related field
