Your Role as Technical Stream Lead

As the Technical Stream Lead, you'll be responsible for:

• Project leadership, working with Single Points of Contact (SPOCs) to define project scope, deliverables, and resource allocation, balancing project priority with specialist skill development.
• Acting as the senior specialist, shaping technical solutions and providing expert guidance on complex, cross-functional programmes to ensure alignment with business goals.
• Overseeing a team of Business Intelligence developers and analysts, providing line management, coaching, and mentoring to foster professional growth and ensure effective collaboration.
• Developing long-term plans for resource demand and capacity, identifying gaps, and implementing strategies to address future needs.
• Supporting the definition and delivery of organisational strategies, aligning technical initiatives with broader business objectives.
• Leading projects, ensuring timely delivery of high-impact solutions that meet industry standards and organisational goals.

Experience and Qualifications for the Technical Stream Lead Role

To excel in this role, you'll need:

• A university/engineering degree in a technical field, with additional qualifications in Data Science or a related discipline being highly desirable.
• A minimum of 7 years in data science or engineering roles, preferably within the consumer goods industry, and at least 5 years in a leadership position where you translated complex data into actionable business insights.
• Strong skills in PowerBI, Tableau, and SQL, along with a deep understanding of business analysis and insights generation.
• Proven experience in managing teams, driving performance, and developing talent within a technical environment.
• Demonstrated ability to think critically, solve complex problems, and make data-driven decisions while managing ambiguity.
• Fluent in English with excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to present complex information clearly to stakeholders at all levels.
