Freelance Clinical Research Associate - Europe (PNH Focus)
6-Month Contract | Q3 2025 Start | Rare Disease | Multiple European Locations
We are currently supporting a biopharmaceutical company that specialises in the development of treatments for rare and serious diseases. As part of their continued growth, they are seeking an experienced freelance Senior Clinical Research Associate (CRA) to support ongoing studies in Paroxysmal Nocturnal Hemoglobinuria (PNH) across Europe.
This is a 6-month contract role, with a strong likelihood of extension, offering the opportunity to contribute to meaningful research in an area with high unmet medical need. There are multiple locations on offer across Europe.
The Role:
As a Senior CRA, you'll be supporting the clinical team in the management and monitoring of PNH studies across multiple European sites. You'll play a hands-on role in ensuring trials are conducted in compliance with GCP guidelines, sponsor protocols, and regulatory requirements. This is a great opportunity to work closely with cross-functional teams in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities include:
Site monitoring activities, including initiation, routine monitoring, and close-out visits
Oversight of site performance and patient recruitment progress
Ensuring data quality and protocol compliance across all assigned sites
Building and maintaining strong site relationships
Collaborating with the wider clinical operations and project management teams
Contributing to the continuous improvement of study processes
Requirements:
A minimum of 3 years PNH experience as a CRA
Experience in rare disease or haematology studies is highly desirable
Familiarity with European regulatory requirements and clinical trial operations
Excellent communication and organisational skills
Must be based in Europe and eligible to work as a contractor
Availability for a Q3 2025 start
