Your Role as Manufacturing Scientist

In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring manufacturing processes are robust, compliant, and continuously improved. You will lead technology transfer projects, provide technical support, and contribute to process optimization throughout the product lifecycle.

Key responsibilities:

  • Oversee and contribute to technology transfer projects, ensuring efficient and compliant manufacturing processes.
  • Maintain deep process knowledge and ensure continuous improvement across product lifecycles.
  • Develop, review, and approve essential technical documents, including batch records, SOPs, risk assessments, study protocols, and technical reports.
  • Provide first-line technical support to manufacturing teams while ensuring compliance with quality requirements.
  • Identify sources of variability and root causes of product or process failures, driving improvements and innovation.
  • Lead change management processes, including risk assessments, quality investigations, impact evaluations, and CAPA implementation.
  • Plan and deliver training for manufacturing personnel, fostering expertise and operational excellence.

Experience and Qualifications for the Manufacturing Scientist Role

To be successful in this position, you should bring a combination of scientific expertise, hands-on industry experience, and strong problem-solving skills.

Required qualifications and skills:

  • At least 3 years of experience in the pharmaceuticals or diagnostics field, with expertise in biology, biochemistry, immunology, and automation.
  • Strong analytical and structured approach to problem-solving.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments.
  • Fluency in English; French OR German as a first language with basic knowledge of the other is preferred.
