Your Role as Lean/Continuous Improvement Project Manager
As a Lean/Continuous Improvement Project Manager, you will:

  • Lead and manage cross-functional Lean projects of significant complexity and scope, influencing both operational and financial performance.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to identify improvement opportunities and drive high-impact projects aligned with business goals.
  • Analyse workflows and processes, utilising a variety of methodologies to propose enhancements in areas such as productivity, lead time, and operational efficiency.
  • Provide Lean leadership, working closely with VPs and other executives to define priorities and address capability gaps.
  • Deliver and facilitate comprehensive Lean Six Sigma training, promoting a culture of continuous improvement across the organisation.
  • Assess various improvement initiatives, balancing effort against potential impact to ensure the most valuable projects are prioritised.
  • Implement Lean thinking across teams, empowering high-performance groups to improve decision-making and problem-solving at all levels.


Experience and Qualifications for the Lean/Continuous Improvement Project Manager Role
We are looking for candidates with the following:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in a relevant field.
  • Over 6 years of experience leading continuous improvement projects with measurable impact.
  • Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification or equivalent from a recognised organisation.
  • A proven ability to operate at an enterprise level, collaborating with senior management to shape strategic improvement initiatives.
  • Expertise in Policy Deployment (Hoshin Kanri) and experience implementing strategic initiatives through structured frameworks.
  • Strong data collection and analytical skills, with the ability to synthesise information for actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present complex ideas clearly and effectively to a range of stakeholders.
