Director RWE - Biostatistician

A leading global organization is seeking an experienced RWE Director (Biostatistician) to join their team on a 12-month contract. This role is central to the successful delivery of Real-World Evidence (RWE) studies, supporting post-market regulatory submissions, publications, and groundbreaking research for top pharmaceutical and biotech companies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead complex RWE studies and oversee statistical aspects of project delivery.
• Develop and review Statistical Analysis Plans (SAPs) and provide SAS programming oversight.
• Collaborate with data management teams to align study specifications.
• Contribute to protocol development and statistical methodology for complex studies.
• Mentor and support junior statisticians within the team.
• Engage in business development activities, including bid defense meetings.

Who We're Looking For:

• Advanced degree (MSc/PhD) in biostatistics, computer science, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience as a Lead Biostatistician in pharma, biotech, or a CRO.
• Proficiency in SAS and a variety of statistical methodologies, including survival analysis, categorical data analysis, and linear/non-linear models.
• Strong knowledge of SDTMs, ADaM datasets, and TFLs.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain statistical concepts clearly.
• Experience in observational study design and regulatory requirements.
• Fluency in English (written & verbal).
